Jenny graduated from The Royal Vet College in 2007 and has worked in Northumberland since graduation. After a stint locuming both home and abroad, she is now back to stay.
Her interests include BVD, and proactive flock and herd health planning and goat medicine. She is a member of the Sheep Veterinary Society, Goat Veterinary Society and a board member and director of the British Cattle Veterinary Association (BCVA). She currently sits on the BVDFREE ENGLAND board, is involved in government liaison work from a low risk TB area and part of the ‘Antibiotics Targets Taskforce’. She is also currently studying for a ‘Certificate in Advanced Sheep Health and Production’.
Outside of work she enjoys rugby, netball, running, cycling, horse-riding, and looking after her smallholding and growing flock of pedigree zwartbles sheep.
