Claire Neillans BVMS MRCVS

Claire graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2020 and after a short time working in mixed practice, she moved to Aberdeen to work as a farm vet in January of 2021. Claire joined the Black Sheep team in April 2022. She is particularly interested in herd and flock health as well as the role of  farming in sustainability and is currently completing a course in ‘A Veterinary Approach to Sustainable Food and Farming’.

Since joining Black sheep, Claire has been involved in the practice social media and newsletter, as well as contributing to practice events such as client meetings, lambing course and medicines course. She also coordinates vet students who come to the practice for EMS.

Claire grew up on a beef and arable farm in East Lothian where she has always enjoyed helping out with cattle related jobs around the farm. Outside of work Claire enjoys baking and walking in the countryside, especially at the beach.
