Dr Jack Sheldrake BVetMed MRCVS
Jack graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in 2016. After a year of mixed practice in Northumberland Jack is now a full time farm vet. A spell as a farm animal locum, working for busy practices in Wales and Salisbury was invaluable for gaining experience on how other farm practices deal with different situations.
After seeing the massive improvements that artificial insemination has had on his family farm, Jack will be heading up our new AI programme. He has a particular interest in helping to make farms as efficient as possible, with every ewe/cow pulling their weight. Be that through improving genetics, tightening the calving pattern, disease control or labour saving.
Outside of work Jack enjoys farming, hiking (normally in the lake district), sailing and surfing.
