Dr Jenny Hull BVetMed CertAVP (Sheep) MRCVS

Jenny graduated from The Royal Vet College in 2007 and has worked in Northumberland since graduation.  After a stint locuming both home and abroad, she is now back to stay.

Her interests include BVD, and proactive flock and herd health planning.  She is a member of the Sheep Veterinary Society, Goat Veterinary Society, and formerly a board member and director of the British Cattle Veterinary Association (BCVA).  She has previously sat on the BVDFREE ENGLAND board, Red Tractor standards technical board, Animal Health and Welfare Pathway working group, was involved in government liaison work from a low-risk TB area and part of the ‘Antibiotics Targets Taskforce’.  She also holds a ‘Certificate in Advanced Sheep Health and Production’.  Jenny has a keen interest in goat medicine and is our resident goat expert.  Education and knowledge transfer plays a big part of work now and Jenny is regularly running CPD courses for vets, teaching vet students and speaking at vet conferences and meetings such as BCVA congress, NEVA, Sheep Vet Society, BVA, London Vet Show. 

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, playing netball, running, cycling, horse-riding, and looking after her smallholding and growing flock of pedigree Zwartbles sheep and herd of pedigree Hereford cattle.
